I've been in love with Hanna Menzie's graduate collection ever since I first saw it on Style Bubble, and I'm not really sure why I've never blogged about it until now. To me, it's probably the best graduate collection on the face of the Earth. There's just something about it that makes you want to stare at the pictures and just wear it all. And yes, even the skates.

Happy Canada Day! This evening, I went to the lake with my sister to watch fireworks, hang out, and listen to unknown bands. Everyone in this town comes to the lake for Canada Day every year, and it's always a blast.

My sister, Chloe, is amused by her glowstick and my bracelet-turned-ring.

Hey, everyone. I was reading the latest issue of Nylon a couple of days ago, when I came across these shoes. They're called Osborn Shoes and anybody who needs a little bit of craziness in their wardrobe will love these. Aren't they amazing?

So, today while I was (cue air quotation marks) "working"in the school computer lab, I stumbled upon the Chloe Sevigny for O.C. Resort 2011 Collection. Wow. Just wow. If I had any of these pieces in my wardrobe, I would wear every single one. And the location for the lookbook makes it that much more amazing. Here are some of my favorite looks:

Well, somebody's rediscovering their love for NYLON magazine. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just so fun in a "you might not think so, but I'm the coolest fashion magazine" kind of way. And that probably made no sense to you at all, but whatever. NYLON has so much color in their pages and in the clothing they use, and I need that, because without color, fashion would be nothing to me. I sometimes try to make myself like a collection that only has black garments, but I can never bring myself to like it. And I'm not saying that I don't like black pieces, because I do. I'm just saying that a whole collection of black can bore me to tears. Even a whole collection of yellow could bore me to tears. I just need colors. Colors. Plural. Maybe it's because I'm young (EHMAGAWSH, MOMMY! RAINBOWS AND UNICORNS!). And now I shall stop talking about this, because now I'm boring you to tears. So, those of you who have read the few posts that currently make up my blog, may know that I love Teen Vogue a little too much. But what can I say? I am a teen, you know. So, anyways. I have come to blog about my excitement of the upcoming issue of Teen Vogue, where Amanda Seyfried will be glossing the cover. HOORAH, a non-Disney/Nickolodeon star! Not that I have anything against those folks, but they seem to be taking over parts of the fashion industry. But, when I think about it, Teen Vogue's been doing pretty good with their cover stars lately, including their current issue, which has the stunning Karlie Kloss on the cover. Now, I must share a couple of my favorite photos from the Amanda Seyfried shoot. Sure, you could just visit the Teen Vogue website, but this is much more fun for me:

J.Crew, Tommy Ton, and Fashion Moods

First, a round of applause for me. "What for?", you ask. For staying faithful to this practically unknown blog, of course! But wait! It's not totally unknown. Much thanks to the wonderfully fabulous Lee, of "FashionLee" , who blogs about things that are of interest to me.

Second, you must click THIS link. Now. Jak and Jil's Tommy Ton, went down unda (?), to Australian Fashion Week, and just happened to come back with a bucket-load of amazingness, a.k.a, street style photos. Is he trying to make me cry, or something? Because, it may be working. I think I need to move to Australia. Except, if I would ever get to attend Australian Fashion Week, people would pity me, for crying all over the gorgeousness. So on second thought, I'll just stay here in Canada, at least until I can contain myself.

Third, I'm so loving J.Crew right now. You see, I have different fashion moods. While regular folks would have moods like "happy", "sad", or "excited", I might be feeling all Marc Jacobs-y, or I might wake up in the morning feeling like Miu Miu. (You thought I was going to say P-Diddy, didn't you). But these days, I'm feeling oh-so-J.Crew. So, pictures:

Fashion Show and Fun Dip

Hola Bloggers and Blog-Readers,

It's been a while since I've posted. I've been kind of busy, but don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the blog. Not that anyone cares (at the moment), but I'm keeping my hopes up that someday, I'll at least have a few readers. Everybody with a blog had to start somewhere. So, the other day I went to my first fashion show! (Well, first real one. We're not counting the free ones that are in the middle of the mall). But of course, there would never be a fashion show in my town. So, off to the city I go (with my Dad). It was a fancy dinner/fashion show to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house. The Ronald McDonald house is like a home away from home for families who need to stay close to the hospital, if their child is in the hospital because of cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. In the house, families can prepare their own meals in the kitchen, sleep in big family bedrooms, chill out in the family room, and use the home van to get place to place. So, the fashion show might not have been high-fashion, but it was so worth it. It was for a great cause, the food was amazing, and I even got to go to snap some pictures in the fashion photographer's section. WOWZA. There were fashions from The Gap, Ricki's, la Vie en Rose, and others. And... fashion photographer, Tony Nardella, was there. He had a little place set up in the corner of the room, with a photo backdrop, and his fancy shmancy cameras and lights and whatnot. You could get your picture taken for only two bucks (!), and then he would edit it to look like a magazine cover. Mine:

Teen Vogue TV Show?

Greetings Blogoshpere,

If you, like me, are a reader of Teen Vogue magazine, I come with great news. I found the article below on fashionista.com and knew that I had to share it with you. (All credit goes to Britt Aboutaleb)

Teen Vogue has a new TV show in the works.

I sat on panel with Amy Astley and Andy Hilfiger yesterday, to talk to students at a City College about careers in fashion, and she mentioned how much has changed since she started Teen Vogue seven years ago and how magazines have to work ten times harder to stay relevant.

The magazine's Editor-in-Chief mentioned engaging readers and establishing a brand and their successful participation in The Hills before mentioning the "new TV show we're developing."

They won't spill more details, but knowing how lovely (and pretty) the whole Teen Vogue staff is, a reality show could actually be different from everything currently on TV.

Thoughts? Opinions? I know I'm excited. Does anybody else think that this might be similar to "The September Issue"? For the younger crowd, of course.

Hello, dear bloggers, and blog readers. I'm Abbey. This is indeed, my first post, but maybe I'll just pretend it's my 68th, so I don't bore you all to death with a mile long introduction. But, I will tell you some things about myself. Hooray for point form introductons!

-I just turned 15 on the 14th.

-I am Canadian. Eh?

-I really do wish I could tell you that I say "Eh", like a true Canadian. But, unfortuntely, I don't.

-I am an avid reader and subscriber of Teen Vogue magazine.

-I very much enjoy Mulberry, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Tory Burch, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Sonia Rykiel, and now I must stop because it is très difficle for me to pick favorites.

-I love fashion-related blogs and websites. Style Rookie. The Sartorialist. Anything!

-I hope to have a career in fashion someday.

-Photography is something I love to do.

-I am currently wishing that Target will sprout legs and walk on over to Canada. Just long enough for me to pick up this Zac Posen for Target dress. Then Target can leave.
